My section is titled “Ordinary Time” and contains about 15 pieces, created mainly during the Coronavirus Pandemic. They were born from my experience of intense monotony while homebound during these challenging, extraordinary times. “Ordinary Time” is also a liturgical season, one that resonates deeply with me when I am immersed in the quiet rituals and noisy chaos of parenthood. It is here that I seek the sublime and sacred, hidden in the mundane messes of daily life.
